The new car arrived after more than two months wait.

The guys at Sport Durst Millennium Automotive Group really went out of their way to make me happy. I've been driving around in dealer loaners since early March. I signed the papers on March 6th, but the dealer in VA changed the terms of the dealer trade before I could take delivery.  Ricky(Salesman) and Lee(Sales Director) both tried very hard to get the car I wanted from another dealer, but couldn't find one. They didn't try to pressure me into getting a car I didn't want. Instead they kept looking until they were able to get what I wanted. If you are looking for a great deal on a car, give these guys a shout.

I took delivery of the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe on Thursday night and couldn't be happier. I got an unbelievable deal on it. It is a Mirabeau Blue Track edition. The car corners like it is on rails and the power is just dangerous.

Yeah.  I need to get a new camera to take some better pictures.

I've been waiting for this car to come out for a long time.  With the exception of the that grill Hyundai has really done a great job on this car.  Thankfully there are a lot of aftermarket grills.  I'm intereseted to see what they do to the front after a few years.

Thanks.  I tend to blaze my own trail.  I try to form my own opinions and question everything.  I think Hyundai makes some really great cars.  Nothing compares to them at the price point.  I'm not that brand conscious.  I'm more deal conscious.  If I can get the brand at a great deal, I'll go for it. 

My first Hyundai was a 2004 Elantra GT.  I bought it in 2003 the day the first one fell off the truck.  I liked it's value and it was a great car, but I only kept it almost two years.  It was a real step down for me.  I was looking for a commuter car and it fit that perfectly.  All the features I wanted, a great price, in a small car with good gas mileage. 

I soon grew tired of driving a small family car, so I traded it for a 2005 PT Cruiser GT Convertible.

I was all GM sports cars before that, except for a Honda Prelude.

Can you see how the Elantra just didn't fit me?

I like the color of your car. Nothing fancy about the car but it so elegant and the design is so cool in the eyes.  Well I don't have any cars yet but I like Ferrari cars especially if it would be colored as yellow.. hehehe what do you think?

I really like yellow sports cars.  That yellow black and chrome color combination is very appealing, but I don't think I could drive one every day.  They attract bees and radar guns.

nice shade and body. do they have other shade like metallic blue or sabbona red?

Thanks.  The blue in the picture is a pearl finish. I believe the lighter "Aqua Mineral Blue" is a metallic finish and it is available in Tsukuba Red.

Yep it is a 2010.  I got it for $1000 under MSRP.  It was just under $31k. 

I've gotten a little work done to it. Here is what it looks like now.
